First, you don't understand how the chemistry of the human body works, that is evident from your post.

Because your weight is towards the low end of the spectrum, it will take you far longer to lose those pounds than someone who weighs, say, 300lbs.

Anything drastic is dangerous; that is just a fact. You might not like it, but oh well, it can't be changed.

Honestly, to lose something like 2lbs a week, you need to:

- Cut out all processed and sugary foods. No pop, no candy, avoid white bread, white rice, 'normal' potatoes, starches like corn and carrots, and don't allow yourself little 'cheat' snacks.

The reason for this is insulin. Think of insulin as the fat guard; it guards the fat from any of your attempts at burning it. The less carbs (ie, sugar) you consume, the lower your insulin. As you probably can guess, lower insulin means less protection for the fat you wish to burn, making the weight loss process much, much easier.

- Next--you have to get up and move A LOT. Exercise is the second most important aspect of losing weight. This doesn't, however, mean that you have to go jogging, or join a gym, etc. You just have to move.

Find something you like--it can even be something like Dance Dance Revolution, or swimming laps, or playing raquetball, or taking up martial arts (you'll lose a drastic amount of weight your first month doing this if you're not eating junk). But you have to move everyday, and it has to be intense: it can't just be a stroll in the park.

- Finally, don't look at the scale. Body weight fluctuates by 5+lbs every day based on how much water is in your body, the last time you ate, etc. None of that has to do with the amount of FAT that has been burnt, and though the scale may say 110 one day and 107 the next, you will still look the same on both days. Throw away the scale and use your eye: its a far better judge of whether or not you're losing.

That is all. Don't be obsessive, please. You're not fat. I know you don't want to hear that, but I gave you advice, so screw it, I'm gonna give you a little more: DO NOT OVER DO IT

Good Luck

Im a Sag as well and I´m the same boat as you, except that is not only in working out but in everything, once I get bored I no longer have motivation for it. The only solution I found for this was to make the activity pleasurable again because once it becomes a routine it gets boring, so try to spice things up, for example change your workout music, change the exercises you are doing, try going with a friend to make it fun.
I had the gym problem a month ago too and my solution was to get bored of being sitting around doing nothing, watching life go by, then I got so bored that I ended up going to the gym, and now its fun once again, my motivation is back. So let your muscles relax too, maybe your body is tired and needs a break.

I'm a Sagittarius and I am funny about exercising... I can be very motivated into working out for a while, then later on I get lazy then it's just a back and forth cycle with being motivated and non-motivated.
Something that motivates me though is new exercises or exercise techniques. The last time I was motivated, was exercise "on demand", now my exercise is dancing. I would go back to the exercise "on demand" but for now it's dancing.
I love working out too, but sometimes it's okay to stop for a while.

BTW, I've seen your posts lately, and you seem very stressed and all that, maybe to gain back some motivation, you should take some time to really pamper yourself, maybe a spa day to just relax all those muscles and regain energy for yourself. Don't think about anyone or anything, just pamper yourself. Splurge a little if you need to, treat yourself. After that maybe you'll start to gain motivation and positive energy. When you feel/look good, the world seem to notice and feel you. It's like walking into a friendly vibrant cafe. You just FEEL their atmosphere/energy.

Maybe you need more variety or excitement involved in it? I've read that Sag's can get bored easily and need a change of scenery. Maybe a camping trip with hikes and swimming in lakes instead of a pool would get your mojo back.

Same way anyone else would, give yourself small goals (1-2 pounds a week, work out 2x this week, 3x next week, etc) and rive your self small rewards when you reach your goals (maybe a day at the beach when you have lost 4 lbs, or your favorite snack in the smallest size when you have a month of working out 5x a week, etc.)

I am a Sag.... I handle comitment very well... I don't think your astrological association soley dictates this... I think you simply have to find something you are "willing" to commit to.
